We know that Pay and Reward may be a cause of worry for some colleagues and we want to ensure that you feel supported throughout this process.

Your manager has not been directly notified of your pay outcome, but please talk to them in the first instance, if you have any questions about Pay and Reward that you are not able to find answers on this website.

In addition to your manager, here are some other resources you may find helpful to support you through this period.

Wellbeing

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) – Health Assured

Our EAP is a confidential employee benefit available to help you deal with personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home life or work life, health and general wellbeing.

Provided in partnership with Health Assured, the EAP offers a complete support network with expert advice and compassionate guidance 24/7, covering a wide range of issues.

You can call the free confidential helpline on 0800 028 0199. The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Mental Health First Aiders

We have a number of colleagues trained as Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) who can offer reassurance if you are experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress and can signpost you to further advice and support.

Learning and career development

SkillGate (our learning management system) offers a range of courses to support your personal and career development.

You can access SkillGate by logging on to the BCP Council network using ‘single sign-on,’ without needing another password.

If you do not have network access, you can still log on to SkillGate using your surname as your username and employee number as your password.

Skills and Learning offer impartial and confidential careers and learning advice to learners in Dorset and can work with you to understand your learning and career goals and to support you in reaching your potential.
