Appeal your role profile
If you feel that the role profile mapped to your job is not correct you can appeal it here using our appeals portal.
Your appeal application must include:
- why the mapped role profile is wrong
- the proposed new role profile
- why the new role profile is more suitable
Your explanation needs to contain as much detail as possible or your application may be delayed or not proceed to an Appeal Panel.
Your supporting information should include:
- any responsibilities that are not covered in your current role profile (such as line management or budget management)
- if colleagues in the same job are mapped to a different role profile
- if the physical demands and working environment you work within aren’t fully reflected by the role profile
- if the type of decisions you are required to make yourself without referring to a more senior manager aren’t recognised
